Summit Series™ VE 25 3-Person Tent
Size & Fit
Breathable
Our unique fabric technology allows air to pass through the fabric, helping to regulate body temperature and keep you cooler for longer.
DWR - Water repellent
A durable water-repellent finish provides protection from light moisture and fabric saturation.
If your rope team is comprised of three then you need the VE 25. It's our premier three-person tent, designed for expeditions and tested by our team of athletes in extreme conditions. It's made from durable nylon with a ripstop weave in the canopy and a water-resistant finish on the fly and floor. DAC poles and stakes are exceptionally strong for their weight and the design itself helps to withstand powerful winds. It's easy to pitch, even when the weather isn't behaving, thanks to a combination of pole sleeves and clips. Dual entry comes in pretty handy when snow and wind create snow drifts at one end of the tent. And once you're in, there's plenty of storage space, including hanger loops for damp clothing and a large vestibule for bigger packs. Colour-coded zip pulls glow in the dark and the high-strength guylines are reflective, so you can find your way home after a long day on the wall. Pitching in snow is not a problem either, as four snow stakes are included and if winds turn gale force, there are welded reinforcements at critical points in the fly sheet. And if your trip isn't about one basecamp, it's relatively light at 4.82kg (fast pack weight is just 2.96kg) so you can take it on the move.

Inspect your tent before cleaning
Proper cleaning and storage of your tent will help prolong its life. Before storing your tent, set it up and inspect it. Look for any damage, pulled seams, broken zips, holes or mildew.
Sponge clean
Once you have inspected your tent, clean all dust and dirt marks with a sponge, mild soap, and tepid water. Rinse with a clean wet sponge. Allow the tent to dry thoroughly before dismantling it. Do not soak your tent, and never machine-wash it.
Store loosely in a cool, dry place
Store the tent loosely, in a large cotton sack or in a cardboard box, in a cool, dry place. Be sure to wipe down your poles with a sponge or towel. Salt can corrode them, and dirt on poles stored with your tent can contribute to mildew growth.
Dry before packing
To prevent mould and mildew from building up, ensure your tent is completely dry before you pack it away. Similarly, be sure the shock cord in your poles is dry before storing.
Retreat the tent
Spray your tent with a UV blocking spray every once in a while to protect against sun damage and tent fly delamination.
